We had a granddaughter who would go to Mt. Vernon Naz each June for their youth Blast competition. We’d bring our bikes and fell in love with both trails. After she graduated we went to Trailapoolsa, KGT 30 anniversary, and the HOOT ride with the new extension. We’re in Ky now and haven’t been back since.
I’d highly recommend The Mt. Vernon Inn for anyone needing a place to stay.
I visited Ariel Park last falls specifically to climb the Rastin Tower - and it was worth it. It's worth planning ahead (note to self!) to include time on a return trip to add some nice flat miles on a leisurely bike ride. Like Amos said, thanks for sharing this now; plenty of time to put it on the schedule. ✅
