From another post: Serial 1 Rush City — originally made by Harley-Davidson — is a solid e-bike, but I can’t recommend it at this point. Harley has since handed the brand off to another e-bike manufacturer, and my recent experience with parts replacement was frustrating, with slow responses and little sense of urgency. I’d suggest going with a more established and widely supported brand instead. This week, I met a rider with a Trek e-bike that had impressive range. The e-bike market is still evolving, and some smaller or shifting brands may disappear or merge, which can make future maintenance more difficult.
Thank for all of this information. I will definitely check out the Trek e-bike! I am still trying to convince myself that having an ebike is good thing vs. going old school pedal.
I’m currently researching e-bikes. What model did you buy?
FYI - I’m also a heart attack survivor - last week was my five year anniversary

Great attitude and lesson for all of us. In particular I think of the riders who complain about E-Assist and E-Bikes. Thank you!
